God's Plan of Salvation for Mankind

1) A person must hear the Gospel taught.

(Rom.10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.).

2) A person must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

(John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.). 

3) A person must repent of all of his past sins.

(Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.).

4) A person must confess Christ before witnesses. 

(Acts 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said , I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.).

5) A person must be immersed/baptized for the remission of sins. 

(Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.).

6) A person must remain faithful. 

(Rev. 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.).
