Acceptable Acts in Worship to God

1) Engage in a study of God's Word

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2Ti 2:15)

2) Pray to the Father in Christ's Name

I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. (1Ti 2:8)

3) Sing (acapella) songs of praise

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; (Eph 5:19 )

4) Partake of the Lord's Supper on the first day of the week

And upon the first [day] of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. (Act 20:7)

5) Give as we have prospered on the first day of the week

Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon the first [day] of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as [God] hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. (1Co 16:1-2)
